The father of a close friend of mine has multiple sclerosis. He got it at an early age, in his thirties. He cannot get out of his chair, though his mental condition is excellent. He spends hours on the net and loads of money on doctors to help him but to no avail ... is there any hope or answer to his prayers? |

Yes, but the question is an enormous question. Moreover, you asked someone with fairly strong opinions on the subject.
Astrologically, you will generally find that the individual has some difficulty with the Mars expression so finding adequate and appropriate ways through the blockage is essential, but this hardly is unique to MS.
Basically, I do not believe there is a disease called MS. This said, I do not deny that many people in wheelchairs who have been told they have MS have serious medical problems. I just do not believe that MS is something one can diagnose except indirectly so a wide variety of very different conditions gets labeled MS.
The common denominator of these conditions is some sort of neurological anomaly, one that will probably lead to increasing loss of motion unless the cause can be shifted.
Among the many likely causes are a host of iatrogenic factors such as contaminated vaccines and mercury poisoning. Removal of amalgam fillings and heavy metal chelation are really helpful for many people and I have some material on this subject on:

A friend has PKD (polycystic kidney disease)which is gradually shutting down kidney function; he's down to about 40% and has a donor standing by. His chart is quite out of balance, for a Libra, with a stellium in 9th, 8 planets west, Mars Rx square Pluto, Uranus square MC/IC (Oct 21,1958 at 1:25 pm EST, 42N20, 83W03).
Is there any way of determining the origins of this condition, either in this or a previous life? Not inherited. Is there any hope for improvement or is a transplant his only option? |

Oh, this couldn't be a more difficult question or group of questions.
The karmic issue has to do with truth, all the variations of pure Aquarius expression. The Moon in Aquarius is opposite Uranus and square to both Mercury and Jupiter in the 9th house. This configuration could hardly be more dramatic. However, in stating that this is the origin of the karma and how it is playing out, I am not suggesting that your friend is not truthful, only that bringing truth into manifestation is a challenge.
One can always work with this idea and see what the ramifications might be and where the trail leads. What happens with a pattern such as this is that there is a lot of spasm (and often pain associated with movement) and rigidity or resistance is used to prevent hurricanes from destabilizing the inner being. Your friend has a quite volatile situation and the line of least resistance is to resist, mainly out of fear.
I don't know if this is helpful or not, but you can see how he responds.

Hello. I'm new to the board. Very interesting subject for me as I have been a smoker for over 40 years. Other than the Neptune factor, I am unable to distinguish anything else consistent. I am an Aquarian with my sun in the 12th and Pisces rising. The drug factor in nicotine seems very relevant to me as far as Neptune influence in the chart is concerned.
However, I digress. I hope this is alright to ask here. If not, please feel free to delete. I have a friend who is experiencing serious health issues. As briefly as possible, in December 2004, she began to experience severe back pain. An abscess pressing against her spine was discovered and surgery was performed. Two weeks later another surgery to remove another abscess. She spent 2 months in the hospital during which time her kidneys shut down. She is now in rehab with serious swelling in her feet and legs, unable to walk. Her liver and kidneys are functioning well.
She is a Virgo with a tight conjunction between the Rising, Sun and Saturn. Her Moon is in Pisces in the 6th with a loose opposition to the the conjunction in the first. Transiting Uranus has been conjunct her Moon for the past year with Neptune also transiting the 6th and opposing the conjunction in the first house. I'm wondering about glandular issues, etc. I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts they can share. Thank you in advance. |
